Rossendales have sent baillifs round to my mothers, where I have never ever lived.
My mothers 67 and my brother who lives with her has learning difficulties, they were both scared after bailiff came at 6:30am today.

My mother told them I don't and never have lived there but they still wanting money.

Can they keep going there and can they take her goods?

No they can't. Your mum and brother have nothing to worry about.

Vulnerable people do feel threatened by bailiffs but the limit is the bailiff only has the power to take control of goods that belong to the debtor.

Turning up at 6.30am is pointless because most people are not up and wouldn't answer the door, but bailiffs reason it because it avoids morning traffic and many households are at work during the day. Bailiffs don't like working in the evenings.
I am a paralegal working for solicitors bringing proceedings against bailiffs for non-compliant enforcement action.
