Creditsolutions for Paypal

Post by russelldurose » 30 Dec 2014 20:01

Dear all,
I got into a negative balance with Paypal, and they started to chase me for the negative balance of £179. I paid this two days ago, and I get a very serious email from Creditsolutions asking me to contact regarding Paypal, even though now my Paypal account is in the black and back in order. What do they want? What jurisdiction do they have to chase me when I paid the debt.

That are debt collectors, not bailiffs. They can only ask you to pay the debt and they cannot take control of goods if you say no.

I didn't know it was possible to have a debit balance with a PayPal account. How did you manage to achieve that?

It's often due to a refund that Ebay has processed. They'll just take the money even if this makes the account 'overdrawn'. Ebay owns Paypal.

I paid for something, somehow the direct debit got rejected. Hence negative balance. Now I paid it all back this week.

Dear all
Just got a email from CreditSolutions who I found out are the same company as Ebay. They wrote to say my file had been closed as I had paid the debt.
