#1 PARKING EYE - PRIVATE LAND PARKING FINE

Post by LUCYLOCKET » 19 Apr 2017 12:41

Hi,

Does anyone know anything about Parking Eye and getting a Parking Charge Notice on Private Land? This has nothing to do with a Council Fine and subsequent Court fines - so am I safe to totally ignore this?

Thank you for any help as always. x

I have got away with ignoring them and all the notices, but I'll never say never.

That's what I was thinking of doing as they are only invoices etc. I will ignore then update on here about what happens.

Thank you :)

I'm not sure I would ignore this.

Did you get the notice on your windscreen or through the post?

Mine was all through the post. I got 5 items about 4 weeks apart increasingly threatening with court action, then, nothing.

Even then you can defend it. If you were not the driver, then they no way of knowing who the driver is.

Did you overstay and did you shop at wherever it was you were ticketed?

Sometimes if you have a receipt for goods you bought while there, you can write to the shop concerned and say you will not be purchasing anything from them again because of this. That sometimes works.

Hi there,

My Son and his girlfriend stopped for fuel first after getting their new car in the morning and sat in the car for a sandwich - 20 mins, then later that evening in the dark they went back for a Starbucks - the car park is a big one between at large Fuel Station and a large Starbucks off the Motorway.

He literally stopped twice at different ends of the day and both stays were no more than 25 minutes so this is extremely annoying. Surely Parking Eye are acting Fraudulently? I will ask to see the CCTV of the whole of that day and I can provide Witness Statements as others were in the car etc.

Thank you :)

Even then you can defend it. If you were not the driver, then they no way of knowing who the driver is.

So if they do take you to court you can just say you were not the driver and that is an acceptable defence ?

Is it me, or are we seeing these re-routed proxied IP warnings appearing for no apparent reason?
