#1 Claiming expenses Police car removal

Back in march i was arrested on alleged driving charges where i was acquitted later in the year . The police removed my car , however i can now claim my recovery fees back .can i include expenses like taxis/ tram tickets/inconvenience . even though i have no receipts?

I cant say I have ever done this before, but an educated guess will tell me that you invite the police force addressed to the Chief Constable to pay your costs in a Letter Before Action.

Give your bank details in the letter and set a deadline.

Then bring the action in the small claims court by completing a form N1.

Write a witness statement giving a first-hand account of the arrest and recovery of the vehicle and file that at court when you complete the Allocation Questionaire.
Run this Checklist. If no joy, then we'll fix it
