It's not your problem.. it's Marstons problem. They chose to take it on.

If your son is not there then there is nothing they can do.

If your concerned about bailiffs interfering with your goods then make a statutory declaration and keep a copy inside the door and place a copy with local police and ask them to assign an incident reference number. That way, if you get trouble then you call 999 and the rest is history.

It's not from you to say where your son is.

Template. tweak and get it sworn in before a solicitor.

Interestingly, the fees are incorrect. It should be £75 compliance stage fee etc. It looks like they are charging VAT on them. VAT only applies to expenses in connection with enforcement. Not statutory fees.

See HMRC advice on bailiffs fees and VAT http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/manuals/vbnbmanu ... m#IDAKNJQH

Thank you so much for your instant reply , is this sort of debt classified as a priority debt ?
What's the worse case scenario that can happen if it's not paid ?
Also does anyone one know how much a solictor would charge for signing a declaration form
Thanks again in advance
