Hi
I'm new to this kind of forum so be kind with me as I need help.
I have had county court papers put in my post box which are the real thing but when I went to the court to check no such case has been filed ! They also pointed out their was no court stamp although did confirm it was their form.
Can I report this company to police ?

Post it up (covering your details) and we'll see what action you should take.

What court was named on the court papers? Did it mention Northampton by any chance? Most money claims are submitted electronically via MCOL (Money Claim Online) or the Northampton Business Centre.Red Hero wrote:Hi

As Pote said, post up a picture of the form you received.Red Hero wrote:They also pointed out their was no court stamp although did confirm it was their form.
Better not till we find out more. Bogus claims are unusual.Red Hero wrote:Can I report this company to police ?

Re: County court claim
This guy is a member on here so don't want to give him anything to work with just now .
It's a claim form and the amount claim is nil yes that's right nil.
Didn't think Anyone could use court paper/forms to mislead

On here? Are you sure? We don't tend to abide bailiff's on here.Red Hero wrote:This guy is a member on here so don't want to give him anything to work with just now .

If the amount of the claim is nil, then it sounds like a practical joke more than anything else.Red Hero wrote:This guy is a member on here so don't want to give him anything to work with just now .

Not much he can work with if the amount is nil...Red Hero wrote:so don't want to give him anything to work with just now .

I also find it rather odd, although it wouldn't be a bailiff who'd issue a claim. It sounds like a silly joke if the amount is nil.Pote Snitkin wrote:On here? Are you sure? We don't tend to abide bailiff's on here.
Without seeing the document, it's anyone's guess. Maybe it's not a money claim but a claim for unliquidated damages, i.e. an unspecified amount.

Re: County court claim
Nail on head comes to mind Michelle, almost anyway.
Not a bailiff at all, he makes out his on other side and I will name him /his company when I'm sure he is the owner .
So I ask again can people use court forms in this way ?

This is all a bit odd. So you say someone on here has sent you a court form for a false debt? Who?Red Hero wrote:Nail on head comes to mind Michelle, almost anyway.
